| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

For the Abyss Bound PrC, there is the option of becoming a risen abyss bound for 300 gold. i was curious if some details could be switched as well, to fit? Namely, Abaddon infused. Instead of blood water, could the water become a holy water instead? Blood rage would remain the same, as it wouldn't fit to fly into murder-mode at the sight of holy water. but neither would a blood-based good guy fit well, either xD |

*Rothy grabs his battle axe and gets ready for another day of slaughter and mayhem after answering this question* Sorry, but because Holy Water is an item used by the good guys such as Roth, you won't be able to make that change. Think of it, if you were using holy water then you'd do little to no damage on anyone. Sorry

Well, i'm talking about a good guy who was an abyss bound. it says in the PrC description that if turned good, the abilities would become useless unless you paid 300 gold to become good. Auron was evil, but is now a Good-aligned Risen Abyssal Bound. So yeah, he is a "good guy like roth" ![]() He's essentially a paladin now, though, due to his previous nature, he has a bit less of a problem with fighting. All references for good and evil are switched when Risen is paid for. So essentially, the blood that now coats him, and the blood water spells, harm bad guys. i just thought it's be more sensible to make it holy water instead. Blood is more of an evil thing. It's mostly just seeing if i can just switch blood water to the good and holy equivalent x3 |

If he's a good guy, then the demon would have left his body in disgust by now and he would be powerless. I'm not sure but I think that the 300 gold might let you choose a new set of powers up to your level since you won't be able to use a good aligned demonic power, though don't quote me on that. I think it's time we let loose the admin alarm and see what they think. |

Quoted from the PrC: Becoming non-evil makes all abilities unusable, even physical changes fade. For applicable fiends, leaving the alignment requirement in law vs chaos also makes abilities unusable, but physical changes are kept. A good abyssal infused may pay 100 gold to become celestial infused and fully redeem himself or instead pay 300 gold to become a risen abyssal infused. All references of good and evil, and unholy and holy throughout the PrC are switched. Not entirely sure why that bit was added to the PrC but there it is. According to the wording everything is just flip-flopped to be a new type of infused. You should be able to change the descriptions of skills to make a bit more sense with attacks that now do holy damage or damage evil-aligned foes, though they cannot gain any new power or advantage that the original abyssal skill possessed. So, if you want to call the blood "holy water" you can, but you cannot use this holy water in a way that the original blood could not also be used, such as for quenching a thirst for water. |
