I am looking for a free online calorie counter link. I also wondered how you figure into casseroles the amount of calories in them when you are cooking homemade foods.

Quite a few online counters out there. www.fitday.com is established and probably everybody's favorite free one.

List all calories

8 oz noodles= X calories
1 can soup=X calories
1/2 cup milk=X calories
8 oz cheese= X calories
1 onion=X calories

If your casserole serves 4 people normally divide the total dish calorie by 4 and you will know how many calories your serving is.

I used to use SparkPeople, but have switched to FitDay because I think it is more accurate on tracking the vitamins and minerals in the foods.
