Tell us something your kid did that really made you proud....

My Shannon has had a tradition the last couple of years of getting a gift for a person who would least likely expect to get a gift from her.

She is friends with the kids no one wants to be friends with.

For Valentine's Day the student council at her school was selling flowers. She and another friend pooled their money and anonymously bought flowers for people who probably wouldn't have gotten any flowers.

These are 3 things, but they all go together to show what a beautiful and giving heart my daughter has. For this I am so proud of her!

Toni what a wonderful thing Shannon and her friend did :)
:yay1:  :goodjob: Shannon and friend! I love it! :)

Iam proud of all my kiddos and here are some things they have done that made me proud :)

1.(JOY) Not to long ago we went to visit a friend in the hospital while we were there, there was an old man who was across from our friend he had cancer. He smiled when he saw the kids and motioned to Joy she went over took his hand and sat with him and talked to him..I tell you his face lit up and it touched my heart so much :)

2.(Stephanie) quite a few times Steph picks up toys, books ect and boxes them up to be given to the church who then sends them off to children in other countries. Iam always rejoicing inside about her eagerness to give to others. :)

3. (Joshua) My birth mom is going through chemo right now . Josh spent some time ( with some help from his sister) making my mom a beautiful card with a bookmark to send her. then we phoned her and he told her "grandma I have something in the mail for you". He too has an eagerness to do things to help others. :)

4. (Naomi) is a loving little girl she is always ready to give you a hug and kiss. if someone is crying she is right there with  and says I love you..what a sweetheart :)

JOY,STEPHANIE, JOSHUA,NAOMI Mom and Dad are :super: proud of you!

What sweet kids, JIL! Mom and Dad are raising them up right! I loved hearing about them!

Shannon, darling, I'm glad you're not a mommy yet too, honey! Someday I would love the 7 grandbabies you plan to have, but we have lots of time to wait for that! You silly wabbit!
