Hi Editor,

I was wondering if you knew anything about the herbal supplement called Hoodia? I had someone at the gym tell me that it really helped to curve a person's appetite.

I get spammed about it all the time.

As seen On CBS’s 60 Minutes program.

Will not keep you awake at night
Does not make you jittery at all
Does nothing to your metabolism
Does not speed up your heart
No side effects

**In a nutshell, the best product on the market to help you lessen your caloric (calorie) intake without feeling hungry all of the time.

ed's note~~be aware there are more than 30 derivatives on the market now. I am leary of what they will find down the line in the future.

I don't do any herbal supplements. Some swear by them, others say they had no effect at all. The problem is the fillers and other things they toss it in. I saw an ad claiming to be pure Hoodia and it was $40.00 for a 30 day supply. I am just not interested. Sufficient water curbs my appetite and they haven't slam dunked that.

No, but they do make a big profit off bottled water now!

I found an interesting article on the Internet about Hoodia. It turns out that many of the products claiming to contain Hoodia, actually don't. I'm seriously thinking about trying one of the products listed that does contain Hoodia called "Desert Burn".

Here's the web site that talks about the fraud of Hoodia: Diet Pill Supplement Scam

Shannan, that is an outrageous price.
Tim, I never buy bottled or flavored water so I don't buy into the latest fads.
Two-thirds is also outrageous!
