It has to have pepperoni. All pizza is good! But I had a breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs. That was to die for. Offhand, how many know of my pizza addiction? |

I wasn't sure....but I had a suspicion! Definitely hold the anchovies. Fresh garlic is great on a pizza! Some pepperoni is good, but I don't like a meat lovers...too much meat. Hawaiian is good, veggie is good. Must have jalapenos on the side. (Too hot if cooked on the pizza. I like to control my heat.) :control: I guess you could put me in the addicts section, too. We'll call ourselves the P.E.A.'s .... pizza eater's anonymous :loll: |

Oh oh, once we label it we might be able to get government subsidiaries.
:) I have never had anchovies. If I chose to accept this mission, I will tell you what next week's pizza (4 toppings-1 price) might have on it and my personal review. |

Pizza!!! We had pizza last night. I don't like lots of toppings on mine. I'm happy with just lots of different kinds of cheeses! But I like chicken or turkey pepperoni on it too! Lenise |

I make a mean pizza with a herbed crust (if interested, I can post the recipe in that section) - the guys (husbands, sons and step-sons) all like Canadian bacon, pepperoni (a soft, mild pepperoni we buy here) and salami (again a soft one), with sauteed onions and sauteed peppers - then double cheese to top it off. I like Hawaiian Pizza - it has ham and pineapple chunks and a white sauce - don't recall what else since it's been years since I had it. It's delicious. My second favorite is taco pizza. I also love desert pizza with lots of blueberries or strawberries and little crumblies on top. LookingUp |

This post has created lots of activity. I think that last question in the original post should have been....Who doesn't know of my pizza addiction??? :loll: Anyone here for a month should have a StRoNg Suspician and any longer they know .... :loll: :loll: I have never had a Hawiaan Pizza or a Taco Pizza. Maybe I should get a small one for Bruce and I. He is willing to try just about anything once [and would be right in there with Editor for the head of P.E.A. ]. I know if either of the 2 pizza places in town had Canadian Bacon, I would put that on instead of the Italian Sausage. My toppings are usually Italian Sausage, Onions, Mushrooms and Cheese. I have gotten so my favorite is a BLT Pizza. Even though it is basically cold, I reallylike it. The school staff where I work has them often in the fall when lettuce and tomatoes are in aboundance in the gardens. |

I make my own pizza quite frequently, but also like it from a pizzaria. My wife, sons, and I like just about anything except anchovies. This past Saturday I made a barbeque chicken pizza with pepperoni. I sauted chopped onion, then added chopped boneless, skinless chicken breasts, then added some bbq sauce, ketchup, and worchester sauce. I used that as a sauce on the dough, topped with shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. I also make dessert pizza and made one on Saturday as well with the same dough (I made enough for the two pizzas). I used apples and raisons with a crumb topping. Yes, we all like our pizza here. :) |

No pepperoni for me, one thing I hate. We used to have a wonderful pizza takeaway where we used to live. He was Italian and his pizzas were to die for and cheap. Make to order and cost about $5 for a 12" pizza. I also make my own when I have time. But I do my garlic bread the way this guy made his. How many for chocolate pizza?????????????????? Here the favourite Chinese pizza which only the Chinese eat is, OK let me give you the recipe. normal pizza base. Bev's tomato sauce (I taught them to make pizza, and Editor got an email at some unearthly hour asking for a pizza base recipe) lots of fresh tomatoes and garlic in the sauce. Then layer apples, bananas, cherries on top, smother with cheese and bake. What can I say except yuck. |

I am having so much fun reading all your posts...and I can say I am definitely not a candidate for P.E.A. I do like pizza but have to have a taste for it so I can do with or without it. But when we do have pizza I prefer the take out, not store bought and like almost anything accept anchovies(sp) and olives. Haven't tried making my own though and one of these days I will try. But my favorite pizza that I had was a Chicken ranch pizza and also had bacon onions, greenpeppers and lots of cheese. Cheese is my major weakness when it comes to pizza, I like to have double... Now Chocolate, that is a different matter....I would be a definite member of the "chocolate eaters anonymous" club! I'm making myself really hungry and that is not good....I haven't even had breakfast yet!!!! |

Hmm, well, it's ALL good!!! And that from someone who didn't learn to like pizza till she was over 30 yrs old. Just hold those anchovies, and please, not too many olives. I love the Hawaiian pizza as well as the gourmet veggie and chicken garlic types. I make dessert pizza when strawberries are in season. Those with blueberries on a sugar-cookie crust spread with sweetened cream cheese. The whole is topped with a dressing made up of orange marmalade. My favorite pizza would include either Canadian bacon or pepperoni or mushrooms but must have green peppers, onions and pineapple. |

Hey it's Christmas you can't ban me. And there are less calories in the chocolate brownie pizza than a hawaiian pizza maybe it is only 1 or 2 calories but it is less. And if you keep the chocolate on top of the fridge it becomes zero calories as calories are afraid of heights :fun: |

:goodpost: Rename thread to CHOCOLATE :giggle: Chocolate is a vegetable How, you ask? Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable. To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food. Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want. If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly. The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution: Eat it in the parking lot. Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite, and you'll eat less. If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves. If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other? Money talks. Chocolate sings. Beautifully. Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger. Therefore, you need to eat more chocolate. Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done. A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Now, isn't that handy? If you can't eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you? If not for chocolate, there would be no need for control top pantyhose. An entire garment industry would be devastated. You can't let that happen, can you? Chocolate is a vegetable Now tell us where the thread is about chocolate. |
