Now it's a phone booth, beauty shop, television room, camper, and classroom. It also serves as a mobile dining room. Thanks to drive-thru windows and take-out foods, you can easily meet or exceed your calorie quota in the middle of a traffic gridlock. But eating in the car might give you more than motion sickness; it could give you motion THICKNESS. Did you know that the car is one of the places where it's easiest to overeat? It seems that driving and munching go hand in hand. It's far too easy to keep one hand on the wheel and the other in a bag of chips. And whether they're grilled, fried, blackened, baked, or skewered, fast foods are generally not very diet-friendly. Maintain your focus. Don't allow eating to become an add-on to other activities----especially driving. Not only will you keep yourself from some calories, you might keep from colliding with that driver in the other lane! |
