Devotions for Dieters A 365-Day Guide to a Lighter You March 11 Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. When I was little, I just hated to be alone. I was afraid of being by myself. When my family got a dog, it made my fear go away. There was never a time when I was alone again. Just having some other presence with me made a huge difference. Now that I'm grown up I still have a constant companion who will never leave me alone. That companion is God. No matter what I do, I know I am not alone in the endeavor. My diet is no exception. When I feel the most alone, I just rely on the support of the Lord, and He gives me strength beyond measure. Today's thought: God helps us to be the best we can be! |

...[I still have a constant companion who will never leave me alone.] The other church I pass going into work says....... ..... ' You Are Never Alone. God is always with you.' My reply - to no one but me - is, 'That's right, I am in the majority....' Neat posting.... |

All my life I have been a lone wolf. Many laughed and said even a recluse. Christ never abandons me! :praise: I have that awareness. |
