Lighten up.

"Life is serious, but it can't be taken seriously."
~Mark Hollingsworth

Humor

"How's the diet going?" one man said to this friend.

"Well, it's going! I enrolled in a Yoga class to help it out."

His friend responded, "You're really practicing Yoga? I can't believe it!"

"It works great!" the dieter replied. "It didn't help me lose much weight, but I can eat in some pretty interesting positions!"

Don't take yourself so seriously! Certainly you want to lose weight, stay fit, and be healthy. All of that takes some attention, but life is for living, not analyzing! The "light" shouldn't be limited to your cream cheese. Put a little light in the rest of your life as well. Lighten up! Learn to laugh. Tell a joke. Look on the humorous side. There's a lot of sun behind those gray skies. There's a "partly sunny" in every situation. Look for it with a twinkle in your eye.

Don't think about yourself all the time. Look for a jolly, new friend. Share a few good stories. Spend time listening, rather than talking about yourself. Relax and learn to enjoy life!
