BREAKFAST BARS(8 SERVINGS)Ingredients
1/2 C Whole-wheat flour
1/2 C Oatmeal, quick-cooking
2 TB Wheat germ
1/2 t Baking soda
1/2 t Ground cinnamon
1/8 t Nutmeg

2 TB Canola oil
1/3 C Honey
1 t Vanilla
1 C Mixed dried fruit bits
1/4 C Walnuts, chopped
How To
Spray 10x6x2" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In bowl, stir together flour, oats, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Combine remaining ingredients. Stir applesauce mixture into flour mixture till
combined. Spread evenly in prepared baking dish. Bake at 350° oven for 15-20 minutes or till an inserted wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool in dish on a wire rack. Cut into 16 bars. Store in tightly covered container at
room temperature or in freezer.
