"Inner Harvest" Hazelden Meditation Series Life is a gift. There may be parts of life we'd just as soon not have. But whether we realize it or not, our life is a gift. Making the most of this life we've been given means keeping ourselves in the best possible condition--physically, emotionally, and spiritually. To do this, we need the right amounts of nourishing food, not too much and not too little. We need exercise, we need work, we need satisfying relationships, we need play, and we need a spiritual base. Many needs go along with the gift of life. We could list them indefinitely. Looking ahead, we may wonder how they will all be met. We may worry. We may be afraid. We are reassured by the belief that the same Higher Power that gives us life gives us the answers to our many needs, one day at a time. * I will have faith that along with the gift of life, I will also be given what I need to live it fully today. |

Good Morning, Look each day for the devotions from "Inner Harvest" :) For there is always some part that seems so relevant to me at that moment. This is the part that reached me today: "We are reassured by the belief that the same Higher Power that gives us life gives us the answers to our many needs, one day at a time." Thanks, |

Cully, that is what God spoke to me also. I will start worrying about something...then - when worrying almost makes me ill - I pray...and God always gets through to me....HE WILL meet each item as it is needed.....and He has Never Failed me yet!! "We are reassured by the belief that the same Higher Power that gives us life gives us the answers to our many needs, one day at a time." Today is a gift...that is why it's called the 'present'.....accept it with all the Love God has given it to you |
