Welcome back, Lori! So glad to see you and very glad your dh is home. Hi, Ironia. Thank you for reading and keeping us in prayer. Wow, a cruise. That will be wonderful. :gl: Gracie!! Great job. We all miss Candy and need to continue praying for her. If I have any updates I will share them. I'm pushing OTC meds, rest and fluids. I'll give it through tomorrow, and if I am not better I will see my doctor on Thursday. |

Hi Gracie!!! I see you joined us while I was gone.... my husband just finished a 1 year deployment to Kuwait. He was home for R&R about the time you joined here.... it seemed so much harder after he left in Aug.... But now - we should all be doing better.... but I am so tired.... I even checked into Sparks People this morning - tried to follow their menu plan.... but I had to do some substitutions LOL I should do well, if I stick to recording what I eat.... :) So since I am not at a plateau.... I maybe in the running for next week.... LOL Congrats on the losses Mike and Gracie!!! one thing that will make it hard again - is exercise is out for a little while longer. About 1 month ago, I sprained my left ankle really bad.... then about 1 week later I stubbed my toe on my right foot so hard I thought I broke it.... and because of how I was walking, I developed a corn on my right foot - and now I have a small one on my left - makes it difficult to walk at times.... I barely made it thru weighing myself on the wii fit board.... lol |

Hi Dave - it is good to be back!!! I am here for the long haul now.... I sure want to lose this weight - I also know that I will need to be careful so that I don't end up gaining it back.... ok I know this gain back was from having baby #9..... As you can see, Jessica recently turned 2.... she is exhausting.... lol |

LORI!!! Great to have you back with us. Gracie - that's a pair of good losses in a row for you. Dave - Sorry for the gain. I just found out my DS has strep...hope yours passes easier. Ironia - would you like to join us "losers" in this challenge? :) Faye - Thank you for your encouragement in the EEE challenge...Last Monday was a fluke...I kinda called it at the time. EEE is where the other 3 lb loss came from. Sunny out, mid 50's. Shame the sun goes down before I get off of work to see it now... -=Mike |

Hi everyone. Well, I have a two pound gain. I really don't know why. Have been watching my eating. Maybe it's because I am eating real food again, I don't know. Dave, hope you feel better quickly. Mike, great loss. I hope your son feels better quickly. Lori, good to see you and very glad your hubby is back. Ironia, so glad you are with us in the challenge again. Well, heading to bed. Goodnight all. |

Thanks, Mike. I have to admit that I was surprised to have those two losses right in a row. Dave, hope you are able to keep those symptoms at bay and soon feeling better. Lori, I actually joined a few years ago but have been gone for awhile. LOL, I checked and although my original account was deleted, I discovered that my intro post was at the end of October 5 years ago. And here I am, back and working on the last 10 pounds ... so there ya go, never give up on those goals no matter how long it seems to take. Wishing everyone a great day! I'd better get going as I need to take a little walk before going to work midmorning. It's another beautiful day and we should hit about 90° which suits me just fine. :) |

Thankful for erasing last weeks gain, and subtracting a few more. Ironia - Whatever week you can't make it works for me...looking forward to having you here more often. Gracie - congrats! Over the past 2 weeks, you've lost more than I was able to do. You should be proud. DS went to bed hours early last night...I feel bad for him. Luckily, school was off today, so at least he's not getting another day behind on homework, etc. Hoping to get my m/c back today...been driving work's 3/4 ton cargo van home & back...it's THIRSTY. -=Mike |

Hi, everyone. Congratulations to Mike and Gracie. I hope I don't continue to gain since I am eating real food again. Hopefully, it will level off as I am getting used to eating real food again. Dave, continuing to pray for you feeling better. Beautiful day today. It is about 75 right now. No humidity. Have windows open. Feels great. Am really exhausted. Cleaned bathrooms, washed kitchen floor and doing laundry. Guess I shouldn't have done it all in one day. I am just glad it is done. Have to go into Gainesville tomorrow for my yearly mammogram and Thursday, my 6 month checkup for the dentist. Next week back into Gainesville to see gastroenterologist again. Well, off to fix some lunch. Have a great afternoon. |

:noon: I'm feeling led to remind everyone that we do have a thread going in our Prayer and Praise forum for our Dear Editor Candy: http://s2.zetaboards.com/Grace_Today/topic/5032425/2/#new (Sorry, I don't know how to rename links yet. I need to learn how to some day) Candy and her family had been communicating any updates to me. There have been no recent updates, so things are unchanged and the healing process is not yet complete. I would encourage you to continue checking this thread for updates and to continue praying for Candy and her family. Thank you. I am starting to feel better, and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Hope you are all having great days. :) |

Hello everyone! WOW, congratulations Mike and Gracie! Dave, glad you are feeling better. Mike, hope your son is well soon. Barbara Ann, it is good that you are keeping on top of your doctor and dental appointments. We had some beautiful weather today. Right now I am watching the "Biggest Loser." Surprised to see them in Washington, D.C. I wonder when they were in town? I might have participated (smile). Go team! |

:morn: Ironia, were you as glad as Fayrda and I were that Tracy was voted off TBL? Cloudy morning and cool here in WNY. Only going to the mid-40's today. Must be November. Fayrda works only 4 hours today (10-2) to train a new cashier. The boys have a full day of college classes and Russell works 6-11. I am feeling better and starting to be able to do some of my full time dear disabled house husband duties. No more laziness for me. Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday, friends! :focus: |

:morn: I wish I had seen that episode of TBL; I would've appreciated the DC background. I am off today, and recovering from a very busy workday yesterday. We are having a huge sale then I had to attend a dinner training in the evening which wouldn't have been so bad had not come home still hungry. :( :hun: I have a lot to do in this house preparing for a move. Feeling overwhelmed by everything, handling things by myself... :sighs: Barbara Ann, hope you are doing well now that the surgery is behind you. You may just gain back those couple pounds returning to regular foods but not necessarily all. Well, here's to all of us finishing the week challenging not each other but ourselves to do our best. :cheer: I may be losing my internet connection soon so if I'm gone for awhile that is why. If so, I will try to check in when at the library. Have a good day, everyone. :butter: |

Mike and Gracie..... :bana: :hal: :hal: :ghug: You definatly did :feed: this week :broc: :blues: \\ Re.: the Biggest Loser.....I'm glad Tracy was finally voted off. I agree it is a 'game' , and she played it from the begining. Instead of concentrating on why she couldn't run the first mile, and thankful for all the support she was getting, she started right off playing 1 against the other, and seemed selfish as a result. She may not be out for just number 1..., but that was my impression. She still didn't seem to get it at the end....or when she appeared on the J Leno show, still couldn't figure out why others were so upset...... I have been so busy.....We live in a fantastic country...and I live in a fantastic area... MC...???... still ...???? We had that 'S' word yesterday...Luckily it didn't stay on the ground.... Gotta run...DH is in bed and I sdtill have a 'gazillion' things to do. My prayers are with everyone that is recovering from the many ailments. God is healing --- in His Time..... :only: |

:morn: Cloudy morning here in WNY. Fayrda is off work today and the boys are off work and school. Russell does have to go up for a meeting with his advisor, though, and plan his class schedule for next semester. Geordan did that yesterday. Not sure what else we will be doing today. Have a blessed and thankful Thursday, friends. :focus: |

Wow, was a truley quiet day here. Dave, I hope everyone enjoyed their day off. We had actual snow on the ground today. It coverel the yard and stayed for a few minutes, eventually melting into rain. The temp. was @ 30 degrees at the highest . While I am not ready for it...it is that time of the year. I stopped at the local trailer site this morning....to look at a small 5th wheel camping trailer. We want to get something that when we camp we don't have to take 2 vehicles. The 5th wheelers were bigger than I thought, but the salesman showed me a couple of campters closer to our price range. As I was walking out the door of the trailer -- and snowing like the dickens -- I stepped down onto the step, the salesman said, 'Be careful" ,,,and my foot slid right off the slushy, icy step. I sat on the step, and giggled, I was so-o-o-o embarasseed. but now my leg/knee is hurting...It hurts to bend it, and hurts to straighten it. Almost feels like when you stand for a long time and 'lock' them iin. Going to put some linamint on and go to bed...see what getting off my feet will do....may have to se the chrioprator tomorrow... It is right behind my knee, so hopefully....itgoesaway.... sleep tight...see ya' tomorrow..... d i |

Hope it's warming up for you this weekend, Angelic - we're getting mid-60's and dry Sat-Mon in the forecast. Chilly, but sunny today. M/C may reappear one more time this weekend before going into hibernation. -=Mike |

Hi everyone. Angelic - hope your leg heals quickly. Mike - hope you can ride m/c this weekend. My results on my mammogram were good. Dentist report was good also. Thank you, Lord. Subway today. Yum! It will be around 74 today. Got down to 39 here last night. Brrrrrr! We need to be in prayer for Fort Hood today. What a tradegy. Our men and women are being killed in Iraq etc. and now on our own soil. Not even safe on our bases. Yikes!!! |

:noon: Yes, we do need to pray for the tragedy at Ft. Hood. Partly sunny day here in WNY. Only in the 30's today, but a warm up is promised. I have had a minor relapse with these symptoms. I'm going to treat OTC aggressively over the weekend, and if not better see my doctor on Monday for sure. I have the symptoms of a sinus infection, but now also had GI symptoms thrown in for fun. Fayrda works 2-9:30 today. We will be going in the hot tub soon and then having lunch. The boys have their full day of college classes today. Have a blessed and fantastic Friday, friends. :feed: |

Saying a prayer for you, Dave. Sinus infections are no fun, and GI problems are even less enjoyable. Mike, ride the mc one more time....enjoy the wind in your face [and a bug or two on your cheeks lol ] Barbara....74*... Open up the back door and point the fan in our direction. We might get the low 50's over the week end. I could handle the 40's if we also got some sun shine, this cloudy weather is for the birds. OK, went to the chieopractor this am. He put a lot of my 'bones' back where they 'belong'....but one spot in the lower back was swollen and he didn't want to keep minipulating it, would only cause more swelling, so it was home -- a couple of 'asprin, a cup of coffee, and I am feeling much better!! I'll go back on Monday and try to get everything back where it belongs. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. I really appreciate them....even I [the eternal optimist] was worried it could be more serious. I forgot I am told to not worry about things...Trust The Lord to be in control....Thank you for that reminder..don't think I'll forget to soon. Make it a Super Saturday! ! |

:noon: :home: Beautiful sunny day and 60 degrees here in WNY. Fayrda and I had breakfast at Tim Horton's with our dear friend and got some produce at the market. I'm planning to make a beef stew in the slow cooker with turnip and brussell sprouts tomorrow. Both boys work 1-6, and Fayrda works 2-9:30. I'm feeling a bit better today so will try and get some chores done around the house. Have a blessed and super Saturday, friends! :) :focus: |

hm-m-m-m, I wonder...did Mike ride back to work for the leather jacket? ... did that mean '1 more ride'...that would definatly mean some nice warm weather in your area. We got around the 50's today, and tomorrow is suppose to be mid to high 50's, but then it starts to drop again.... Thanks for 'sending some of that warmth up our way, Lori, but please, as much as i like the sun and warmth, don't freeze you out...you can close the door and stay warm.....just send the sun every couple of days, ok? I'm in the finishing stage of our big project....it is tireiing.... I would on it until @ midnight every night before getting to bed...and I'm as young as I use to be [ :) ] |
