Babies--what a wonderful thing! My precious one, I have given you a love gift. This is a token of My love to you. This is not a punishment or a judgment, but a gift!--A gift of love! As you nurture it, you will find it will bring you great joy and satisfaction. I know it is not as you had expected, but believe Me, this is a gift and a blessing. Do you remember the story about the woman to whom I gave a gift and she counted it a burden? I had wrapped the gift in old brown rags and told her to carry it with her as a token of My love. It was a test to see if she would believe what I had said. Although she carried it around all her life, she never really looked at it or accepted it as a gift and a blessing from Me, but more as a burden and a duty for her to carry. So it never brought her the joy that it could have. On that blessed day when she came to Me, we unwrapped that gift together. To her amazement, inside the old brown rags were jewels and unspeakable blessings! She looked at Me with sad remorse and said, "Oh, if I had only known what was inside, I wouldn't have looked at it as a burden all those years!"
