If Jacobs hadn't stepped on the dude's face, he woulda kept going!  lol

It's better that he stepped on his face though!   :P

:hee:

Would have been better if he stepped on his neck, which somehow became my scream of choice at Giants games. "Kill him!" "Step on his neck!" Not sure if Nic started that or if I picked it up somewhere else. Doesn't matter.... one of my fave things to scream during Giants games! :D

I'm all about the non-violence......

BTW Geno, I said A FEW TIMES that I like this Carney guy!

What a way to open the season. The first half anyway.

Holy hell, Jacobs was running all over those bastards. Poor Landry.

I don't know if that was my favorite part, or watching Toomer just dismissively (not even looking at them) pushing jawing 'Skins like a one-manned army.

Other than a mere couple of "what are you doing?" moments with Manning, I was really pleased with him tonight.

Things got a little sloppy after the half, but, all-in-all I'm happy with my boys. And I'll be damned if they didn't look like they were having FUN out there.

Still pissed about the McDougle penalty. If a guy is falling through the air, there should be some logic used when applying penalties. He fell on the kicker.

I saw both on the field.Wilk made a few good plays,I think he might have had cramps.
Tell you what I was very impressed with last night that no one has brought up,loved out tackling by our secondary, how many times did the Skins complete a pass on 3rd down only to have Webster,Ross, whomever tackle the reciever short.
And I think out DT are bordering on becoming dominant.

Never put your head down as a defender when tackling. keep your head up and eyes open-carl banks. ;)

Besides Landry can never take on B.J.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.............

Here's one good thing about playing early and winning............

Sunday afternoon I can sit back and enjoy all the football that's going to be on!

It's one of those rare weekends in the metro area that we'll get a double header game given the Jets are on the road................

At 1:00 we'll get the Jets v Phins on CBS and Fox will broadcast the Eagles v Rams.

At 4:00 we get the Cowboys v Browns.

And of course Sunday night we get the Colts v Bears.

Life is good.................

Damn Jacobs was hurting people out there last night! Carney looked great scoring 10 points himself! Eli was Eli, part Super Bowl MVP, part lost little hick boy in the big city but the defense stepped up and took this win!

Eli is from New Orleans.... hardly hick town.

I thought there couldn't be any "competing" games on in this area when either the Jests or Giants were playing?
