Heat of the moment shit. Jacobs "slap" was more like a whoop on the helmetto say "ha ha". Not a vicious thing. In the replay of it, it looked like he was smiling whern he did it.

Geno - Ralphie V on the same page regarding the RB situation:

• Jacobs had a great game, averaging 5.5 yards per carry, and since Derrick Ward was nearly as effective (4.3 ypc) then some credit should go to the offensive line. Where’s Ahmad Bradshaw, you ask? It’s simply a numerical fact that there’s just not enough touches to go around to everyone. So when you talk about a running back by committee, it’s really a 1-2 punch. And I believe, as the season goes along, the “2” will be whichever backup has the hot hand.

Kirwin yesterday said that the Giants didn't really show much of their hand Thurs nite offensively, especially in the second half. There were packages that had Bradshaw was in that Gilbide basicly decided not to use/show,as it seemed that the Giants knew that there was no need to use him as long as Jacobs and Ward and the running game was working the way it did.
Was it me,remember,I only saw on TV the 2nd half, but did it seem the Giants were very vanilla offensively(but why go exotic with formations when they were moving the ball all game, remember, even when drives stalled they usually had at least 2 first downs)?
I really don't think we witnessed what this offense can really do on Thursday.
