So far, Shweigert and London are the most prominent. Others including

*DE Wallace Gilberry
*DE Alex Morrow
*TE Jerome Collins
*OL Na'Shan Goddard
*OL Digger Bujnoch
*DT Jeremy Clark

Meh,say bye bye to London, somebody will grab him(our luck the Cowballs,as they are down to TO,Crayton, and nobody else)
They will probably resign Wooodson to the practice squad.
Shweigert was just a training camp body I guess(probably all those pics of him on the ground found their way to Coughlin's office.
Wonder what they will do with Marcus Monk, probably a practice squader.
This is a great time to cue up the Cheryl Crowe song "first cut is the deepest"

As of right now they're going with 2 QB's on the roster.

Wonder what they have in mind?

Do they figure that the clipboard holder isn't worth a roster spot or is there someone else out there they have their eyes on?

The Giants have cut K Josh Huston, who missed an extra point the other night and two FGs in the previous two games.

The rumblings I'm hearing indicate the team is sniffing around 44-year-old K John Carney (formerly of the Chiefs, Jags, Saints, Chargers, LOS ANGELES Rams and Bucs) to fill the void while Lawrence Tynes (knee) is out of action. Haven't confirmed that just yet and actually not sure if they'd sign him today or wait until later in the week. I'll keep you posted as more develops on this one.

2:58 p.m. UPDATE Carney's agent, Tom Mills, has confirmed the team will sign the 18-year veteran. Congratulations, Jeff Feagles. You're no longer the oldest guy on the roster.

Not a bad move. I'm worried about kickoffs, but at least he's proven

Woodson will be resigned to the practice squad IMO,and who knows, they might resign Lorenzen(I mean,he does know our system)
Not a bad pick up with John(chicken Con)Carney.
Again, don't be surprised if we pick up a vet DE for rotation/depth

A lot of mb rumors floating around that Jerome McDougle is on the bubble.

Isn't that the guy the Eagles drafted a few years back? The very same year where we got stuck with Willy Joe!?

That's him. Allegedly the Giants had him all lined up, but Philly pulled a trade to jump ahead of us.

Yes he's the one.

Now I really don't follow the Eagles that closely, but what I've been reading is that McDougle is in a real dog fight with someone name Bryan Smith.........and supposedly Philly is only going to keep one of them.

Whichever one loses out may be the DE depth we're looking for......

Cyber what say you?

I'd take McDougle. I wanted him in the draft. I'm not that impressed with what he's done in Philly, but, I think he'd work well here.

Cut update: Robert Douglas, Kurt Quarterman, Marcus Monk, Eric Butler, Cliff Louis, Tank Daniels, James Terry, Ogemdi Nwagbuo, and Darren Barnett were cut.

Told ya Monk would be here a week...
