Ralph Vacchiano's new book (Eli Manning: The Making Of A Quarterback) is due out soon.

When it comes to my reading I'm not really into sports biographies, but in today's N.Y. Daily News I did find the excerpt they printed somewhat fascinating........it touches on the few days before the draft........

VERY interesting insight on Wellington Mara. As FOG's like me will tell you the man's loyalty was commendable, but in other areas it killed the organization for years.

For the CLICKERS

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. Tom Brady has his making of a QB book, the Pats have their making of a dynasty book.... I'm not really sure I can get on board with Eli "deserving" a book about "the making of a quarterback"......

Plus I can't friggin stand Ralph Vacchiano!

You don't like Ralphie V?

Book looks pretty good. I'll grab it at the library when it drops. Reading Plax's book now and it's not bad at all.

I'll be picking it up. I'll read anything Giants related because you just never know what kind of unknown tidbit you'll learn. And, well, it's about the Giants.
