When did "False Start" sign with the Bucs??!?! Anyhoo, he was physically unable to perform when he was with us, but that didn't stop him from playing. |

Last year. A couple of weeks after we released him. He fucked up his knee after 4 or 5 games. |

Ok, I did know that. For some reason I thought we released him 2 years ago. Guess because the Giants season was so long this year it seems like longer ago we got rid of his false-starting ass. Now that I think about it, I remember commenting several times throughout the season how our penalties decreased right after his release. Coincidence? I think not. Maybe I should stop drinking so much..... that may help with the retention of information.... lol |

Here's an interesting little tid-bit from the blog of Clarke Judge of CBS Sports: One day the Tampa Bay Bucs release offensive tackle Luke Petitgout; the next the NFL notifies Petitgout that he will be suspended the first four games of the 2008 season. The league hasn't said why, but you have to wonder if that didn't factor into Petitgout's release. Yeah, I know Petitgout tore his ACL last year and didn't pass the team's physical. But you can't tell me the Bucs didn't know this was in the works. Not sure what happened here, but am sure you won't be seeing Petitgout for the first four games of the year ... anywhere. Petitgout is eligible to sign with another club and participate in preseason practices and preseason games, but once the 53-man roster is set, his suspension takes place. |

I heard he was waking up in cold sweats screaming "Quest Field" and "12th man." I had to explain to a few folks who thought the Giants couldn't perform at Quest that, in fact, it was Mr. Pettigout who wanted to start the play early on about 10 occasions that day.., and no one else. That and Feely had a bad day. |
