New York Giants sign kicker Josh Huston by Mike Garafolo/The Star-Ledger Friday August 15, 2008, 1:25 PM ALBANY, N.Y. - The Giants have signed K Josh Huston, who was with the team in camp last year, according to Huston's agent, Jeff Chilcoat. Huston worked out with Billy Cundiff today as well as another unidentified kicker. Huston will handle kicking duties on Monday against the Browns in place of Lawrence Tynes, who hurt his leg earlier this week during practice. How long Huston remains on the roster after that will be determined by how quickly Tynes can recover. The 26-year-old Huston, who attended Ohio State, made three of his four field-goal attempts last preseason, including a 50-yarder against the Ravens. He missed wide right from 42 against the Jets, though he did have a touchback in that game. Again, I'm expecting another transaction today - probably an OT to replace Shane Olivea. MG ------------------ I'm trying to remember.....when Feely left last year did he burn any bridges? I mean why bring in Huston, Cundiff, and an unidentified PK witout extending an invite to JF? Maybe he's looking for to much $$$?

I think Feely is the lesser of 2 evils I seriously don't even know how Tynes is still on the roster, but Feely was no prize either. When he left to go to Miami, I think he made a few disparaging remarks toward the Giants. Can't recall for certain, but I seem to remember some bad blood |

But he'd still come back, right? I want Jay back!!!!! Josh was cut for a reason... not quite sure what that reason is, but at least Jay could hit a 45 yard field goal.... most of the time anyway..... |
