Just a few quickies for the out of towners.......

--Manning in for the 1st 2 series.......looked crappy on the 1st.......was a little sharper in the 2nd.

--Jacobs in for 1 series.......ripped off a 27 yard run on his second touch.......

--Defensively the D looked rusty.......the pass rush was one step slow as a few times they were half a second from sacking Kitna on completions. Nothing to worry about.

--M. Johnson looked lost a S. Missed a tackle on the Williams TD.

--Kehl looked lost on a pass to the TE, but he came up with a big stop late in the 2nd QTR when the Lions had a 3rd and short.

--Anthony Wright looked sharp in the 2nd QTR. Had a pass dropped by Bradshaw on the Detroit 6 yard line.......looked to me that Bradshaw would've scored if he held on.

--S. Moss caught a 47 yarder from Wright.

--Boss had a 2nd QTR catch and run that was very Bavaro-esque. Bounced off 2 guys before the 3rd took him down:) But he definitely has to improve his technique on his run blocking.

--Tynes 1-2 on FG's.......Missed from 44 and hit from 33.

No one injured

I know this is way premature, as it is preseason & the first preseason game at that, but I'm right back to where I was last year... STRESSED! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! The Giants can still make me pull my hair out & scream my head off!!

Gotta say, Tom is right back into his confused/stressed/flabbergasted look that we have all grown to love.

Meh....
Gene, your last line is the most important,no injuries.
Catching the second half on Sirius
Who are these jobbers calling the game?Where is Carl Banks?I know Papa is in China.
Sounds like a div 2 announcing team.
My uncle told me they look rusty on offense, who were the starters for WRs?

Yeah, but guess what?

Goff broke a bone in his fucking back........a transverse process or whatever the fuck they call it.

Could be a season ender. :irked:

Great joy was given to me there... no matter how brief.

Agree with your total 1st half assessment.

Tynes still scares me as much as he did last year, in spite of the winning kick, actually I'm surprised that the team is going into this season without addressing the kicker situation, I have to assume that they see something in him that I don't .

Tynes is not the inept bastard we like to think of him as. He actually only missed 3 or 4 FGs last year. It's the WHEN, and lengths, that make them stick in our heads and make it seem more numerable than it actually was.
