Home. Either been here or Casa de 12Cheri for the last 3 games, so here it is! Can't mess with the juju. My bar is actually open tomorrow & is having a SB party, but I can't mess with the Football Gods by going..... Same routine as Sundays past as well..... sleep late, be late for church (that's not on purpose), bagel place for my bagel & coffee on the way home, park on the couch for a while.... I have been told by someone that I can "see what happens" regarding going to the bar. Oh, say we happen to be down at the half I have been told I can go to the bar. BUT, I have not been told by an official source (Blue, gonna need a ruling on that one). If we're winning at halftime, NO WAY I am leaving my house! I have informed said person I will meet him at the bar after we win! (even though it won't be for long, since I have to go to work on Monday.....) |

Tell him/her it doesn't work that way. We're the Giants. Being behind at half-time is a natural occurence. Not a sign that you should change your ritual. They can wait until after the game to see your lovely face. My cousin is having a bash, my fave bar (owned and staffed by Giants fans) is having a shindig... I'll be home, by myself, on my couch until victory. Do I hate celebrating, and going through, the most important day of the year by myself? Damn right I do. Alas, this is not about me. This is about my boys and what is best for them. |

Dear Miss Manners: Since the Cowboys' game I have been wearing a black wool "Dallas Sucks" ski cap through the end of the first half. I didn't wear it during TB, mind you, and the guys did OK down there. Quandary: Tonight we are going to a party at our friends' house. He's a doctor; she's some financial services big-wig on Wall Street. They're both totally cool -- he's my assistant youth lacrosse coach in the spring. They are, however, very...cultured. I half expect to walk in to a house full of wine drinking, pinkies-extended, khakis-and-button-down stuffed PoloŽ shirts. ![]() If I forego the cap for this game and the Giants... well, you know... will it be my fault? |

Yes. Amd, more importantly, you'd be a douche for changing anything about yourself to fit in with a bunch of hoity-toity fucks. |

I'm with Blue on this one Mikey.... than again you already knew I would be. Oh yeah, & I will be telling "him" that if he wants to see me at the bar, it'll be post game. I highly doubt he'll be there by 2nd half anyway. |
