All 14 experts over at ESPN.com are picking Green Bay tomorrow. Where's The Love? Now, if we can only get the stooges on FOX tomorrow afternoon to go the same way we're in! |

I for one thought the Cowboys were better than the Packers...and clearly a better team than us. They weren't last Sunday evening though. |

I want to puke watching the CBS talking heads. As they go to break right now, the outro is this: "Coming up, are the four best teams playing for the right to go to the SB today? In that regard, Eli is still playing and Peyton is not. [Laughter] We'll have all the analysis when we come back...Crunch time is next!"

Cbs is bitter its not Colts Pats, and its trendy to goof on Eli(when the Chargers have a goober with a big mouth who might not play) Wait till the Fox pre game when they get all bitter about the Cowfuckers not playing the Packers and scripting Frank Caliendo to make fun of the Giants. Face it.Giants are here.nobody wants us here ,we are the untrendy heavy metal dude who crashes the beautiful people party and steals the show. FUCK YOU ANTI NY GIANTS MEDIA!WERE PLAYING AND THERE IS NOT A FUCKING THING ANYONE CAN DO ABOUT IT! |

My priest prayed for the Giants in Church today, at the end of the petitions. He prayed that the Giants would be gracious winners in their defeat of the Packers. I may go back next week too! |

Sorry, but I disagree. The NFL loves the fact that a huge media market like New York is still alive in the playoffs. All the talk all week has been about the Giants and their road winning streak (which I do say is quite impressive). Not much talk about the Packers at all. They even stirred up some BS crap about how the Packers think the Giants are a dirty team, which no one ever came out and said, other than Kampman expressing some frustration right after the game way back in week 2. The only story the media has on the Packers is Favre. If it wasn't for him, they would be pissed that the Packers made it this far. Small town franchise and all. |

No one ever said the NFL was pissed the Giants made it. It is the media that can't stand the fact that the Giants are where they are. (Tho I bet Roger is shitting his pants that the "wrong" Manning is in the Conference Championship game.) They can't get over the fact that they said the Giants were going to suck this year, & look where they are. They can't get over the fact that week in & week out, they pick the Giants to lose & they don't. They can't stand that they had Tampa beating the Giants, & not only was Tampa unsuccessful, their beloved Cowboys were unsuccessful as well. This isn't just Giants fans whining that no one likes them, everyone picks on them. This is stemming from the contempt you can hear in the voices of the analysts when they talk about the Giants. You can hear it in all the morons on the Fox pregame. You can hear it in Buck & Aikman when they cover the games. You can her it in the voices of 95% of the analysts on ESPN. And in the rare instance they do say something positive about the Giants, it is dripping with sarcasm & usually followed by a backhanded "compliment." The "unbiased media" as A LOT of trouble concealing the bias they have against teh New York Football Giants. |

machine, i agree in part. obviously, the networks relish the prospect of local NY ratings, but the giants do NOT garner viewership nationwide. like the steelers, gb is well-loved all over the country and, should brett continue his "destiny" season, a packers appearance in the SB may actually translate to better numbers overall. it's two separate issues, as i see it. management may be happy the "big market" is still alive, but the talking heads ... the on air "talent" ... are just dying on seeing their arrogantly dismissive predictions for this club being proven wrong week after week. |

I can understand the frustration of having your team picked against every week. They did it to the Packers all season, no matter how many wins they were piling up. Nobody would believe we were a good team. I know we lost the Bears a couple of times, but that stuff happens when you have the most storied rivalry in the league. Against the Cowboys, well we had a lot of injuries going into that game, and McCarthy decided to sit some guys the actually could have played. He was looking at the big picture, and it turned out to pay off. That game was hyped so much and it didn't turn out to mean shit, because the G-,men knocked Dallas out anyways, so that Number 1 seed means nothing. (for what it's worth, I predicted that the G-men would win last week.) After we lost that game to Dallas, everybody pretty much handed the NFC crown to them, as they were on their way to the #1 seed. Then we lost to Chicago in the 45 mph winds, and we were done. Believe me, I was so hoping the Giants would end up playing Dallas in the playoffs, because I felt out of all the teams (other than the Packers) in the NFC the G-men were the only ones that could beat them. I didn't believe the Redskins could do it again. Turns out I was right, and I am happy for you guys that we are facing off in the NFC Championship. Dallas fans are such a bunch of arrogant assholes, along with TO and Tony HOMO, they don't deserve the glory of playing in this great game today. I still think that if the game today were in Dallas, that the Packers would have went in there and won. Even though I think we will win today, at this point I actually think that we would have had an easier time playing Dallas today, because I think that the Giants are a better team right now than Dallas. |
