D.............. ,so we're going to put a guy who is barely a DE to play SAM and he's never done it before when we could have drafted one with at least college experience(what was I thinking?!)We blew this draft and others know it.

ONE STAR *

Miami *

Dolphins fans booed coach Cam Cameron heavily for taking versatile WR-KR Ted Ginn Jr. instead of QB Brady Quinn. John Beck can be groomed at QB, but the trade for Trent Green hasn't materialized. Miami got needed OL help from C-G Samson Satele in Round 2.

New York Giants *

Although Eli Manning lacks protection, the Giants ignored their OL needs. DB Aaron Ross and DT Jay Alford fill holes on a spotty defense, but a blocker was needed with the second-round pick used on WR Steve Smith.

Philadelphia *

Lacking a first-round pick for the first time since 1992, the Eagles added an unneeded backup QB in Kevin Kolb with the 36th pick. They got DE Victor Abiamiri with an additional second-rounder, but defense should have been the early priority.

Seattle *

With their first pick coming at No. 55, the Seahawks didn't have much opportunity. DB Josh Wilson and DT Brandon Mebane could help. There still issues at TE, despite the signing of Marcus Pollard.

Washington *

The Redskins had only one first-day pick and used it on top S LaRon Landry. But they might have been wiser to add a pass rusher to a D-line that managed only 19 sacks.

You guys need to take it easy with these grades......you can not grade anything for 3 years.......if you want to grade draft picks than begin with the 2004 draft....it has been 3 years....start with that draft......

ESPN just reported that the Giants have requested a Do-Over on the draft when they read this post.

How come that is the only publication giving us a bad grade in the draft when everyone on Sirius and other reports have us no lower than "solid" and many others saying we had a top 10 draft?

And since when is the USA today a credible NFL source?

When it's negative, it becomes credible

If this putz got his OT, would anybody have been shocked to read:

Although they took Tony Ugoh in the second round who's weakness is pass protection, the Giants didn't get any weapons for Eli Manning. With an aging Toomer who cannot be guaranteed healthy all year, Sinorice Moss who couldn't get on the field and nothing else behind Burress or Shockey, losing Tiki Barber the Giants missed the ball by not getting the kid another weapon.
