The good: Talented all-purpose back completed an excellent short career at Marshall with strong performances over his final two seasons. Surprisingly strong athlete with both quickness and speed to be a role player in the NFL. In 2006 he had 249 carries for 1,523 yards and 19 TDs. He added 17 receptions for 129 yards and two TDs. Highly developed as a receiver, Bradshaw displayed fine route-running, soft hands and elusiveness. At the Combine, he ran a 4.55 and had a 34-inch vertical leap. He did not attempt the bench press.

The bad: Lacks the size to be an every-down runner.

Outlook: Tough, aggressive runner with the talent to earn time as a key backup and probably a third-down role after some development. Probable late pick with the talent and toughness to make it and give his club a quality change-of pace

and Darius Walker falls completely out of the Draft

maybe we sign him as an UFA and have both these kids compete(and get rid of Ward)

I love the pick. Better than Walker, quite a bit faster. A friend of mine brought him up last week. Nice pick.

I don't think he is better than Ward and Sims. I don't see him making the roster. Not really great hands.

Notes:

Was a walk-on at Marshall...Originally signed to play football at Virginia but never enrolled after he was arrested for underage alcohol possession and obstruction of justice...Was arrested again in 2006 for burglary and petit larceny...Not nearly the prospect his production would suggest...Profiles as more of a backup at the next level but his off-the-field troubles might very well cause him to go undrafted.

Well if this sumbitch can run like a thief I'd say he has a good shot at making the team........

Don't get your panties in a bunch about the 250th pick in the draft. The kid might make the team, and if he doesn't....so fuckin what. Relax.

I still think we're going to sign Arlen Harris to compete for the 3rd down back job. Either him or bring Darius Walker in like Cyber said.

"Productive MAC back with no standout traits" is how he's listed in my draft guide. I guess you can't go wrong with a late seventh rounder. We should have gotten Garrett Wolfe. He would have been the perfect third down back.

Not where the Bears took him (in the 3rd),IMO that was a big reach
But then again our 3rd round pick was a bit of a reach as well

Reese was quoted in the papers today saying that they're going to keep a short leash on him..........if he can get his head screwed on strait they feel like they may have a good player, if he fucks up then fuck him.

I liked Wolfe but that was a huge reach in the 3rd imo.
