NO BOWL FOR SHOCKEY: Jeremy Shockey, who missed the Giants' regular-season finale with an ankle injury, will not play in the Pro Bowl. The tight end was selected to his fourth Pro Bowl in his fifth NFL season despite nursing an ankle injury for most of the year. He didn't miss a game until the Dec. 30 finale, then returned for the Giants' lone playoff game but was less than 100%.

He will be replaced on the NFC squad by Dallas tight end Jason Witten. Witten caught 64passes for 754 yards and one touchdown. Shockey had 66catches for 623 yards and seven touchdowns.

Also, Jacksonville's DT John Henderson will replace New England's Richard Seymour, and Minnesota's DT Pat Williams is will fill in for Chicago's Tommie Harris.
