actually we sucked. We were lucky to even be in this game, Tiki was held in check, our recievers dropped catchable balls, Manning is eratic again and our defense didnt really show up. Yeah agree some of he official calls really sucked but they didnt account for the loss. This was not representative of a team thats looking to win a division, in fact it looked like a mediocre team waiting to play out the season.

No excuses , we sucked not because of one play or player, not because of stupid penalties , not because of bad officiating, we lost because we suck as a road team and for whatever the reason these guys cant get the idea that you need to finish it off. :fury:

Not that it explains everything, but we are really missing Pierce.

he's definately missed Rick and injuries can and will be a factor its just not a good excuse. We won against in my opinion a much better team last week, certainly much better offense without Pierce. We're lacking that killer instinct on the road and we dont finish things off. I cant figure it out but I just didnt see the kind of emotion from the Giant players I expect when a game so critcal to their needs was played. It was a mediocre effort in a big game, thats the way I see it

Agreed. It's shitty, but on the other hand who would have thought the Giants would have sole possession of 1st place going into the last game? I'm starting to move past this one and look forward to next week. If we happen to see the redskins again, it will be at home. They won't beat us there.

with our mistakes, i do not see this team moving past the second round. we can win a game during wildcard weekend but that is it. i expected a big win from a good team but we might have been brought down to reality. we should have not lost this game, but it can be an real indication of this team. we suck on the road.

I can't take anything away from the 'Skins.

As I've been saying all day is came down to the fact that they made the plays when they needed to and we didn't.

Once again we see the New York Football Giants be their own worst enemy.

That drop by Burress........that brain lock by Shockey........the hold by Snee.....take your pick.

The Giants just didn't perfom today.

It depends which team shows up. If the team that played in Seattle shows up, we have a shot at beating anyone on the road.
