Those were definitely the 'no-brainer' picks, except for Tyree. I'm so happy he made it in, even with being injured for a while. The modern day Rene Thompson.

Would you believe Mike Vick made the pro bowl?? Don't players also vote for this in addition to the fans? He's horrible. One of the best RBs......but one of the worst QBs.

I was surprised Feagles & Pierce did not make it.

I agree that normally Eli shouldn't have been a candidate but couldn't name 3 other NFC QB's who are playing now that were definitely better THIS YEAR. Hasselback was a lock to me and Delhomme was a probable but VICK? Sorry but as a passer Eli is having a better year. I'm glad he didn't go this year but cannot justify Vick over him. The fan vote cannot be blamed for Vick. Eli won that vote. The coaches and players vote must carry equal weight.

It does. 1/3 fans, 1/3 players, 1/3 coaches (and GMs?).

Something like that.

personally I think the Pro Bowl is a sham. I can think of at least 5 additional players that should have been voted in. Diehl, Snee, Feagles, Pierce and Griesen. I voted for Griesen for Hampy  Also a big notable mention for Burress, that one is for 10 Giants  an one last one now that I think of it, Silly Willy Pnder, that one is for Coughlin :P

Actually, Texans fans shouldn't be allowed... or the team personnel for that matter. LOL

Yes, we all feel that more of our boys deseved to be in, but, that's the homer in all of us.

If Ponder hadn't been pulled weeks ago, which in turn would've no doubt kept his stat rankings at the top of the heap, there is a good chance he would've been voted in. Alas, at this time he doesn't deserve the nod.

I'm with ya on Feagles, and I seriously thought, with all the hype he's been getting in the second half of this season, that he would be a shoe-in. Noone gives a crap about punters though. It ain't right, but, it is what it is.

Pierce should've gone, too. Well, should've got the nod.

As for Diehl, Griesen and Snee: Yes, they have been a helping hand to, and great for, us, but, there is better in the NFC.

He only got hurt 2 weeks ago....I doubt that's what kept him out.

Some of our guys that made it as "alternates" kinda surprised me. Glad they did, but still surprised.

I don't think Vick should've made it, I mean, there isn't much depth in the NFC QB spots, but I would've let Brad Johnson go before Vick.

Vick isnt' TOO bad though, not as bad as people make him out to be, what I find funny is that EVERYONE hates Vick yet EVERYONE nuthugs Vick at the same damn time, I cna't tell who's right.

Tiki deserves the probowl definetly though, I'm happy for him and Warrick

Not everyone hates Vick. I don't, anyway. I think he gets alot more shit than he deserves. It seems like the main haters got turned off with all the hype he got. Happens with alot of players.

Don't think his play this year deserved him a spot in the Pro Bowl though, but, a good portion of the voting is done with name recognition. You get your face on TV (even inadvertently) and you get votes.

He is not a good QB. He should much better than he is at this point in his career. "Should be better" considering all the hype and all the scary talent. He's as inaccurate as Eli and he makes worse decisions. He would be on the bench if it weren't for what he does with his legs. For Shane Matthews!

Good point. I personally thought he'd be scary good. He may not have what it takes upstairs to read NFL defenses.

He isn't the greatest QB to have ever lived, but, he's not as bad as people make him seem when they're talking about him. Yes, he's more of a RB than a QB, but, that's the same thing that garnered McNabb his praise and, let's face it, more times than not, he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Both are more a help than a hinderance to their teams, but, you'd think Vick was Dave Brown when some people talk about him.
