1. It's time to jump on the Eli Manning bandwagon. The guy is a good quarterback who could -- maybe should -- develop into a great one, and that last drive against Denver should have convinced the skeptics. The touchdown pass was marvelous, with Manning unloading the ball just before he was struck by a blitzing John Lynch. But it was his third-down strike to tight end Jeremy Shockey moments earlier that clinched the deal. It was a gutsy call, considering the Giants needed 10 yards for the first down, but Manning lobbed a perfect pitch to Shockey for a 24-yard gain. Three plays later, Manning threw for the winning TD -- the second straight week he pulled the Giants from the grave in the last minute.

13. Yes, that was an Amani Toomer sighting in the end zone. The Giants wide receiver, who had no touchdowns last year, had the game-winning catch against Denver with five seconds left and -- wouldn't you know it -- he ended the Broncos' five-game winning streak. The last time Denver was in town, which was seven years ago, Toomer had the game-winner to stop the Broncos' regular-season streak at 14 wins.
