Greetings folks. I'm here from thehogs.net board. I have an idea that might be fun in terms of shedding some light on our upcoming game. Versus the usual of me going on about how the skins will kick your team's butt (they will I hope
:P ), and you doing the reverse, lets try something else. How 'bout I as a skins fan tell you what I think the Giants have to do in order to BEAT the skins and you do likewise for the giants? Why? Because I probably know more about the skins weaknesses than you, and you certainly know more about the Giants weaknesses. This would lead to us both getting a better feel for what's going to happen I think. Any takers? |

Yea, stop the GIANTS flight, because other than that you all are TOAST!!!! Sorry I couldn't help myself. Actually, my contract as a GIANTS fan prevents me from discussing any weakness which might give the deadskins a victory. I live in the Washington/Baltimore so I'll just listen to the Doc Walker show to get all the info I need and a bunch more I don't..

Ok I'll bite To beat the Giants, throw a lot of short, underneath stuff and run a lot of max protect. We don't blitz anywhere near as much as we should and our secondary has very limited coverage skills, so if you can keep Brunell upright, you'll have a field day throwing the ball on us. Our run D has played pretty well at times and have been getting into the backfield quite a bit on run plays to disrupt things. On D, double Plax and keep your quickest LB on Shockey with safety help. Load up the box on 1st and 2nd downs to keep Tiki out of the game. Eli has yet to appear rattled this year, so even if you get to him, he seems to be able to put it out of his head and still play well. A lot of defensive movement seems to confuse him at this stage of his career, but that is to be expected as a 2nd year QB. Make no mistake though....he is playing WELL beyond his years In a nutshell, our D is VERY suspect and the O, while real talented, has been struggling badly for the past 2 weeks(watch out in the 4th quarter, however) Your turn  |

I was referring to the suggestion that "stop[ping] the GIANTS flight" was the way to insure a Washington win. |

Hey I am a Cowboys fan and live in the Baltimore/DC area and have to listen to SMOKKKKKKKKKIN AL COKIN (sp) babble about nothing..LOL. In my opinion the Redskins have a better defense this year, but I believe the Giants just have a better overall team. You won't see the Giants completely give up like the Cowboys have against the Skins... |
