Personally, I think we had an excellent draft and managed to hit most of our biggest needs. All guys I've heard of, in the rounds or later than the rounds I expected they'd go.

I'd have liked a tackle, but with 4 picks it's hard to hit everything. Maybe we have a guy (Whitfield?) we think we can sign to back up there.

At the moment that warm and fuzzy feeling I had at the end of yesterday........and no it wasn't because of the beer.........is missing today.........

I liked the selections of Webster and Tuck, but at the moment I'm resigned to the fact that EA once again missed the boat with Jacobs and Moore.......

As always I'm not afraid to admit my lack of knowledge when it comes to College football, but just surfing around today reading threads on other sites makes me think the Giants could have done better.

Fason was available and so was (and may still be) T Micheal Munoz...........

S Ernest Shazor from Michigan was also still un picked........and at the time DE Bill Swancutt was sitting there..........

I liked Jacobs, unsure on Moore. Saturday went well.

The only thing in favor of Jacobs is that he isn't a big 10 goober
I give it a B+

Because of the moves in FA before the draft I give this draft a B+. However, that grad is really a combination of FA and Draft. The GIANTS hands were tied and some great FA moves gave them some wiggle room. Give me these same picks without the FA moves and the score goes down to a C- easy. For what we had to work with I think they did a good job. I really like the first and second pick.

I think Webster was a great selection. I wanted a corner bad and he was a good value at that spot.

IMO, Tuck and Moore were awesome values in the 3rd and 6th.

Jacobs was decent value. I was sort of against taking a RB, but I'd rather take a shot at landing a beast, short-yardage guy than go after guys like Fason or Barber who wouldn't add a new dimension to our running game.

I'm relatively happy. I like the Webster and Tuck picks. Jacobs is too freakin' big to reconcile in my mind that he's a RB, though I doubt, if he even plays, that he'll be really used as one. Moore, I know NOTHING about, minus what I've read today, but, judging from the film they showed at the draft he seems to have slow feet and some trouble at times getting to his man, but, once he gets there he's a menace.

I don't make many draftee decisions until after I see them live, so, I'll save any serious opinions for after camp. If they make it that far.
