And one of the very few bright spots thus far. I love his returns

Boy it's a good Garrett can hand the ball off so well. It'd be nice to see him actually pass a few but with Joyce back there who needs to throw :worthy:

He was my "Tyree" last year and everyone was squawking how we didn't need him, he wasn't big enough... blah blah blah!

I had him picked over Warren last year too. He could be the next Meggett but better...

better than Meggett. That may be asking for too much. I'd take Meggett over Mitchell in their prime.

Meggett over Mitchell Yes. But Delvin, if he stays healthy and as productive as he has, he will surpass Meggett. He's had some great returns called back by penalties already in pre season. I'll say it. Joyce over Meggett

I agree Demon. I have really not been blown away with Mitchell on returns. OK he's better than Darryl Jones but it's looks like he's waiting. I think he's a tremendous talent but I don't think Joyce has all that much to learn from him on returns. Maybe the old dog can learn a new trick from Joyce.

Honestly there isn't much to learn. It's not like he's a qb. There was an article months ago about how Mitchell benefitted from the Eagles shemes on ST. Hence why they were not concerned about retaining him. I've said this too. :P It's worth mentioning his successors before their 4th games are averaging about 27 yards a return on KOs and about 15 on punt returns with a td. I don't think they'll miss him one bit.

I've been saying that to the knuckleheads who were bitching about losing BMitch from day one. But if you've been to the Eagles Official MB, 99% of them don't listen to reason. The schemes John Harbaugh has and the blocking allows for big gains.

What BMitch does give you though is consistency. He can stare down the gun barrel on punt returns and not flinch.

The Eagles won't miss BMitch as far as field position goes, but they'll miss his sure hands. I expect to see more return TDs but also a few fumbles from our new guys (on Punt returns).

Can anybody say Joe Morris??

Am I crazy, or if this kid put on another 10 lbs, he'd be a faster version of Joe Morris? I really liked his running last night. Granted, it was against college level defensive players, but so was our Oline. I liked what I saw no matter what.

Make that 20 if he's really 175.
Yea I noticed Sheppard muff one the other week, but he's broke several big ones. The way it's looking so far you're probably better off without him.
