I put this here rather than in "General NFL" as two things are undisputed for this, our humble Giants family:

1. We cannot root for the AFC.

2. We cannot root for Ph...Phh...Pffft...

Arizona - playing the way they are - will be difficult to beat out there. Then again, I thought we'd handle Philly ourselves.

I actually admire the way several of the Eagles approach the game, but holy shit...can McNabb be more of a classless clown (grabbing the phone on our sideline and saying God knows what). It's amazing that a guy who has been in the league that long is that much of a douche bag and disrespects his opponents the way he does. That apology in the post game interview was bullshit and may as well come straight from the Eagles Pub Relations person, since it's obvious he was directed to say what he said. One of the biggest assholes in the league. I wish him nothing but the very worst. I hope Dockett breaks his femur.

I'll be the Card's staunchest supporter next week, but, if Pitt makes it in, they get my woohoos for the SB. If it's Balt and the Cards, in the big game, Cards get my support.

If, God for-fucking-bid, it ends up as Philly and Balt in the SB... I make believe the game isn't happening this year.

Geez, guys. Pathetic thread much?

I wouldn't exactly say I bandwagoned for the Giants last year, but between the Pats and the GMen, your guys were the team I wanted to lose less.

The only result that would have made me happier about XLII would have been a meteor hitting the stadium in the middle of the game.

I was in the same boat, I mean, if there were any other fans in the NFC East I could tolerate it's Giants fans. I also took a shimmer of pride that the SB was won by an NFC East team. Now that's not saying I wanted to see the Giants win the SB, but they were the lesser of evils and Giants fans deserved it for loyalty alone...Pats fans didn't exist before they won their first SB, even though everyone of them says otherwise they're a bunch of bandwagoners same way the Rams and Tampa fans were when they were a good team. I was genuinely happy for everyone on this board because I was familiar enough with everyone here to know they were here win or lose...even after the 4-12 season.

This game is a toss up, I'm not happy to see the Eagles open as favorites because the Cards have thrived on being disrespected.

I'm rooting for the Steelers and Cardinals, I have great respect for the Steelers organization because they have maintained a classy way of business over the years just like the Giants!
