How about the Giants version of the Wild Cat? I could see Ward and Bradshaw pulling that off quite nicely. I bet you Moss wouldn't be bad at it either, but....

I'd like to see it. You?

If Willie Ponder were here, he could run it and it would be Wild Blue Ponder.

:he: Yes, the jokes are still...thankfully...free.

That was for the 'tug' he was going to provide later in the night.

Oh that explains why it was supposed to be a bottomless party.

Anyway, I don't think Gilbride has the ability to use any sort of trick play more complicated than an end around. The only complaint I have about his gameplan really.

But if it ain't broke.

Yup, if it ain't broke. However if you run that formation once per game, it forces opposing defenses to prepare for one more thing, taking time away from preparing for our straight running game, pass defense, etc.

Plus it's just cool. lol

I was going to say that the Giants can run for nearly 200 yards a game against everybody without the chicanery of a trick play, but it would be cool I guess to do this once or so to show another wrinkle.
I'm sure we have tried this in practice, but did not nead it.

Again, the one thing I will bitch about is the lack of the flanker screens, bubble screens, hitch screens to the outside recievers, though it seems that we have used it a few times with Ward.I see every team in the league use this play multiple of times, and we have the playmakers outside where all you have to do is make one person miss, and he is off.Sinorice Moss is perfect for this role, and yet he grows moss on the sidelines(and unlike previous years,he has shown he deserves playing time),as is Hixon, and Bradshaw.
And seeing as it seems most defenses play off our WRs,we should run this minimum 5 times a game

And what ever happened to taking long shots down field,Burress isn't the only one able to run these patterns
OK,rant over

We don't do cool. And if we do, it's usually the result of a mishap that just happened to work out in our favor and provide us with a YT video to laugh and yell "Did you see that?!?" at our friends, like it was the initial intention...

That being said... I wouldn't mind seeing a little trickery and change-up. Not alot because, as stated already, don't fix what ain't broke.
