QUARTERBACKS: B

So much running game means numbers won't be gaudy for Eli Manning (13 of 23, 153 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) but his efficiency can get better. Stood in and took some heavy hits.

RUNNING BACKS: A+

Immediate and punishing tone set by Brandon Jacobs (11 carries, 73 yards, 2 TDs) and picked up by Derrick Ward (11 carries, 41 yards) and Ahmad Bradshaw (9 carries, 96 yards), who is fresh when the defense is dragging. And don't forget those bludgeoning Madison Hedgecock blocks.

WIDE RECEIVERS: B

Plaxico Burress (3 catches, 47 yards) hauled in 21-yarder early to help set up first TD. Otherwise, more blocking than catching across the board.

TIGHT ENDS: B+

The only catch for this group went to ... Darcy Johnson? Yup, he got his first career catch, a 1-yard TD grab that wasn't easy when the ball fluttered up in the wind.

OFFENSIVE LINE: A+

Didn't say much all week about the supposedly impenetrable Ravens run defense then came out and dominated. Absolutely punishing en route to 207 rushing yards -- and just one sack allowed.

DEFENSIVE LINE: A

DE Mathias Kiwanuka got lone sack and was the most active of the group, which had some problems dealing with scrambling of Joe Flacco (57 yards). Nowhere to run near Barry Cofield (six tackles).

LINEBACKERS: A

Three Ravens RBs managed a paltry 47 yards, with Danny Clark coming on strong and Antonio Pierce and Chase Blackburn cleaning up around the pile.

SECONDARY: A

CB Aaron Ross was ticked at himself for dropping an interception last week and not making enough big plays. He got two picks of Joe Flacco and returned the second 50 yards for a TD. CB Corey Webster, despite groin strain, was his aggressive self.

SPECIAL TEAMS: B

Nothing doing in return game and allowed average of 25.5 yards on kickoffs. Fred Robbins blocked a low field-goal attempt by Matt Stover.

KICKING GAME: C+

Lawrence Tynes went solo for the first time this season, hit a chip-shot 19-yard FG, and his kickoffs were deep enough into the wind, but he knocked one out of bounds, which is a no-no. Jay Alford bounced a snap on a botched PAT, which never should happen.

COACHING: A

Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride is sticking with the run and it's coming up big, and he's dialing up more passes to Derrick Ward, which is working nicely. Ho hum, another replay challenge victory for Tom Coughlin.
