Awful, awful news.
One of my all time favorite players. Which goes to show you how crappy this team was back in those days
Great color announcer who knew his stuff, enhanced the game and presented it without the "swagger" and other bull shit that passes for color commentary today.

Giants Blog
Dave Jennings, the all-pro punter and longtime broadcaster for the Giants and Jets, died this morning at age of 61.
Jennings suffered from Parkinson’s disease for nearly 20 years.
Jennings, a four-time Pro Bowler, played for the Giants from 1974-84 after graduating from St. Lawrence University. He finished his career in 1987, after three years with the Jets. Oddly, he didn’t play college or high school football.
Jennings worked as a radio color commentator first for Jets games from 1988 to 2001 before doing the same for the Giants from 2002 until 2007. He left broadcasting in 2008 due to struggles with Parkinson’s.

The Mannings were a lock at # 1 ,but who would have guessed the Barber brothers would be #2.

Victor Cruz arrives to sign his one-year tender. That means he's coming to training camp. Long-term deal still possible. #nyg

Herzlich apparently is dominating the battle for the mic lbs spot so much
That he is now listed as the starter,
Granted that he showed flashes in last years OTA's till he got injured, but from what I have been reading
He seems to have put it all together, making correct reads on play action and such and now looks like a complete player..this is ultimately what we want, this guy being the beast he was before his cancer and the player a few of us thought he could become
Rivers looks really good as well, and Williams ,while still with the knee issue(why didn't he get a surgery is a question we will be asking if it means he isn't playing),
Kiwi now starting right DE for now,and looks like he never left the d line,
Moore showing some stuff that shows he will contribute at least in pass rush situations this year
On offense,Randle looks to be a beast in the making, him and Nicks on the outside with Cruz in the slot, and the way Gilbride moves the wrs around, could make the passing game even more lethal than 2 years ago
Jerrnigans looks like he could be a decent contributor if he gets in the game, having anice ota
Nobody seems to have taken the return jobs yet, right now it seems to be Ross' job, though I guess Randle can do it again
No word on how Pugh is doing, but the 7th round guard is going to be getting into fights in training camp, nasty nasty fucker,I like this,he really is showing he wants to be starting,
That is all I can find
And the other stories of course(jpp could be back by week 1,cruz and the Giants inching closer at a snails pace, and Nicks no show seeming to be more out of fear of doing something to himself in a contract year when its not mandetory(I don't blame him to be honest)

Looks like Ramses Barden gets another year with us,methinks for vet minimum..
Opinion
Well, they needed a 6th wr as they always carry 6,he knows the system, and he did actually produce
The 2 times he did start he did produce(albeit with a season crippling mind fart penalty at the end of the 1st
Eagles game..
And methinks the team didnt see a lick from the udfa wrs we brought in to thin they would get someone of worth
To be the number 6 and BARDEN is the best option(maybe one of the kids show enough to ende up on their practice squad)
Decent depth move

Yup, it's that time of the year again.......
Jeez, didn't even realize they were having OTA's this week.......guess I wasn't paying attention.
In other news Coughlin is a tad miffed that Nicks didn't show up yesterday. Depending on which newspaper you read his absence was due to being at a charity event or he has his balls all tied up in knots over his contract.
