Congratulations to Ilya Kovalchuk and Scotty Hartnell! Leclaire was there for a while but the latest votes cast him aside and he'll have a chance again next time. The Vancouver juggernaut is certainly getting its due. |

Added the class of 2021. Welcome Rick Nash, Jay Bouwmeester, and Lars Jonsson tot he Hall of Fame. Nash was a shoo-in - getting 20 votes from the 21 who voted. Boumeester started out strong in the voting but slowed down considerably as more voters participated. He got votes from 12 of the 21. Jonsson also started out strong and actually fell out of it for a bit but got a few voters towards the end to pull him back in. He barely made the cut with 11 of 21 - the rule being you must be in the top 3 vote-getters AND get chosen by more than 50% of the voters. Edited by DaveLeibowitz, Jul 28 2009, 01:57 PM.

Any thoughts on the images in the main post of this thread? I feel like they make the thread REALLY looooong and clutter it up. It's easier to read without the images. But if there's enough of an outcry in favor of them, I'll keep them. Will hold off on deletion for now. |

Glad to see Evseev in the hall (although the two that didn't vote for him need a kick in the crotch). Retires with the GHL record for both Goals and Points (although points should be broken this season). If only he didn't suffer under Dave for so long, he could have put up even better numbers. |

Congratulations to Doug Gingrich and Robert Alarie! 2 very deserving members. Nice to see Alarie get the recognition he deserves in his 2nd attempt to get in. |
