Crap. I just looked at the forecast and Galveston is supposed to be beautiful weather Saturday and Saturday night. Temptation is growing. Must resist.

I am currently experiencing mental health, financial, employment, and legal issues that would make an ethanol-fueled rampage through Galveston County unwise at this time.  But I so love Halloween. It's my favorite holyday. |

Well, John, you should've come. Weather was beautiful. I went down 3 times: Friday afternoon with my daughter Katherine, Saturday morning by myself, and again Sat night with Diane. It's nice living 25 miles away now! It was hugely crowded. They moved all the stuff off the Seawall and it's all down in the Strand and harbor areas now. I kind of like that better, although it makes the crowd thicker down there. I got to hang out with Pam (HuntingtonX) and Dwayne both Fri and Sat. They were kind enough to get there early and save seats near the cheapest beer!! I did call Alicia to find out if you were coming, but never got an answer. |

The wife and I woke Sunday morning and decided to run and visit my folks in Bacliff for a few days. We went the back way through High Island and passed an unbelievable amount of bikes.... We passed through the strand around 3:00 p.m. and it was still hopping. We deiced to give it a shot next year. if we can find a room overlooking the Strand where I can sit, drink beer, smoke cigars and watch everyone.
