It sometimes helps if you offer money!

Don't give up they'll get on eventually! :happyrider:
There is not one shred of evidence to support the theory that life should be taken seriously!

It sucks to have no friends. Backroad Ronnie tells me that all the time.

Apexeater should be along anytime. There were a few posters but most of us are older cruiser riders. But were still really immature!

Seems like a good bunch here. :happyrider: :happyrider: :happyrider:
I wouldn't mind getting a dedicated highway bike someday ; )
Don't really know what make, model or size it would be though. A guy at work showed me a brochure a dealer gave him for a Concours( i think). That looked interesting. :headscratch: but still looked like a passenger bike. No two up riding for me. Get your own damn scoot :soapbox:

K-Bar has a Concours 1000 and loves its. He's says it is the best of both worlds (sorry about the Hannah Montana quote there). Its comfy for him to ride far but can take twistys really well he had allot of fun on the dragon with Howard but then again having a big cruiser did not stop Howard for peg and pipe scraping either! I think they are goofy looking but oh well! ; )

peg and pipe scraping
My ride is not lowered and pegs sit nice and high. I'd dare to say if something scrapes....it's too late
I have owned mid-controlled bikes, both H-D and Jap, but no big cruiser.

Best of both worlds?? I relate that to Sammy Hagar when he sang for Van Halen.

Hannah Montana?? Have to ask my granddaughter about that one....

I have been on myspace for a couple of years with no problem. I do not browse other pages and have not been to that trouble spot. Most friends I have were specifically looked for or sought me out. Hell I have more problems with spam and porn bombs than viruses.

Hey FatRat! If you ever ride around Jasper Newton counties you are coming dangerously close to seeing me and a black blur for a split second. I ride FM's 1013 777 1414 1012 and SH 87 from Burkeville to just past Fairmount often, but have been known to venture as far north as Shelby County, like I'll be doing in a couple of weeks.

Nup..I'm afraid I'm further north.

I'll look up exactly where you're talking though. ; )
Rarely see a sport bike this way( or I should say a non drag racer) :headscratch:

Looking up nice roads is as easy as clicking the link in my sig line.

I ride an Aprilia SL1000 Falco

Check out my recent trip to the hill country...Click ME

Like I say...I'll be riding north to Shelby County to attend Thunder on the Bend (weekend of May 16th), and will map out a crazy fun route much like I did last year. Just some of the trip included 768 Rusk to Jacksonville 138 Garrison to Center 1087 from US 259 to Garrison and 139 through Huxley. I like exploring new roads on occasion, but the ones around here keep me occupied until those occasions occur.

Apex eater,
Thanks for the heads up
Checked out the specs and such on your ride. How you liking it? Didn't see Rotax in anything I read. Is it a Rotax? Are the parts reasonable?
Reason I'm asking is...I like the torque curve of the V twins(or V fours), so I'm interested in different variants available.
Right now I'm happy learning sport bikes on my 250. Only now, after a couple of years, am I running out of throttle in the curves I drive daily.
You been to Thunder on the Bend before?
Sounds interesting enough. Would be a nice little trip for me.
