Arkansas ride

Posted by copusrider (Members) at Aug 29 2011, 04:45 PM. 13 comments

Alright, lets see what we have here!

I am cutting the strings and am planning on hitting Arkansas in Sept.
I will be going without the wife. I am shooting for the 14th or 15th of Sept. as a take off, returning approx. the 21st.
If it sucks, shorter, if it's great....maybe longer. In other words, I don't tie myself to hard and rigid timing.

So, if you're flexible,
have some money and can stay at hotels,
aren't against beer drinking,
Find crude jokes funny......then contact me.

I'm going......anyone else?

Post a Ride Section

We have turned into a sorry bunch of anti-social bike riders.
I used to look forward to getting together with a group of riders and take off to a place I haven't been before.
The fact is , nobody makes an attempt to set up a ride, we are lucky if we even read about some one else having a good ride and maybe see a few pictures.
It is always more fun to be with a group.
Magna Don is gone and I think he took the love of the group ride with him. I do hope I am wrong about this.
I tried in the past to get a ride together by posting a ride with the start location and start time. Three weeks in a row, and no one showed up WTF is with that? Well I tried. We have had some good rides in the past.
So, is anyone interested in a lunch ride? Is your life so full of yourself that you have turned into a troll or a hermit?
I know, lets do what you want to do.
Post your ride and I will try very hard to make it.
Do you have a comment? Do you know how to type?
If you are reading this rant you may be interested. Make a comment if you like, suit yourself. Ass Hole Rod

Back from Wisconsin

Posted by ssnake-oyl Rod (Members) at Jul 29 2011, 10:19 PM. 0 comments

Just got back from delivering the 87 Kawi I fixed up for my son to Wisconsin.
It ran good enough to get him a driving award for not having a motorcycle endorsement! The weather was too damn hot to breath the first 3 days then got cold and rained like heck. Temp dropped 33 degrees over night. The fishing was good and the weather was nice the last few days. It sure is nice to be back in Texas. Yaba Daba Do How sweet it is.
While I was up there I had a chance to check out a couple of Victory Cross Country models boy are they nice! Think I will stick with my cheap paid for bikes, don't need any more payments.
I realize this is a new posting it is in a strange place on this forum, it may give someone something to read. Rod
