OOC: After mad texting to Hoshi-imoto-san today XD I think we've got the basic outline for this rp down - it's modern day because lol Isaac driving a sports car is hot. Isaac and the other vampires could be in a band or something it will just be a side thing, the vampires can have flashbacks to when they were turned then Felix, and Picard can mention a vampire gathering around the first vampire. The first vampire and he could have like control over the younger vampires and want to rid the world of vampire hunters and the school Ivan goes to can secretly train vampire hunters and that sort of thing and he has the gift to see vampires without his glasses on ---- just some notes XD so we have something to follow so this doesn't die Takes place around a "normal" private school academy - Ivan's first day or so. lol I'll be using Isaac's Japanese name for this - which is Robin. XD Isaac Ivan and Alex are mine and I shall not let them loose on the world to torment other souls. Robin Wynter Age: unknown - looks to be in his late teens 18-19 Appearance: Pale skin, tousled sandy blonde hair, unearthly pale blue eyes Height: 6'1 Weapon: Pistol he keeps in his holster hidden by his leather jacket, short sword on his left arm - extends when he needs it (only uses when he absolutely needs it, hates close combat), a small knife on the bottom of his right boot (extends when he clicks his heel) Short background: Quiet young man, lead guitarist for the band Golden Sun (lol has to come in somewhere) and part vocals - the band is just a way for them to get used to the new world. He likes to keep to himself, though there are rare moments when he'll actually smile. He's one of the older vampires, turned when he was just 18-years-old (almost 19), though with as long as he's been around, he knows too much to be like the younger vampires - recklessly running around killing every human that crosses their path. He's mysterious but soft in his own way. Ivan Rivers Age: 16 Appearance: Messy dirty blonde hair, slightly tanned skin, deep violet eyes - coke bottle classes <3 Height: 5'6 Weapon: None Short background: Yup, Ivan is a total nerd - shunned by the girls at school and most of the boys, except for the few that don't care about physical appearance (very few). Ivan's father died after making sure that Ivan was enrolled in Starwind Academy (the details of his father's death were never released to Ivan and he was told not to ask questions) - so after the arrangements were made, he moved to the academy which he is currently attending. He's a shy, quiet, very bright young man who only sees the good in people (for now). lol the bios sucked hopefully meh first post doesn't 8D OOC: Ivan was leaving his English class, walking down the crowded hall and heading towards the dorm rooms, his thick glasses hiding his vibrant violet eyes from the world around him. He didn't really need the glasses but ever since he could remember - his parents had forced him to wear them and so he had done as they asked. His head was tilted down slightly as he made his way through the packed corridors quickly as he could. That still didn't mean trouble wasn't going to find him. And find him it did. Someone slammed into him from behind, knocking his books out of his arms and onto the floor - of course no one stopped to help, his books and papers were stepped on, kicked around the halls until they disappeared from sight, devoured by the millions of legs that scurried about around him. The sixteen-year-old knelt on the ground, trying to recover his lost books but was grabbed by his collar and pulled back by a strong arm and lifted off his feet to dangle in the air for a heart-stopping moment before he was set on his feet again, spun around roughly and found himself face to face with the school bully - joy. He groaned inwardly, waiting for the pain to come. 'At least they haven't broken my glasses yet.' "Well, well, if it isn't the little Rivers brat - going to cry?" The tall boy asked, still holding Ivan by the back of his shirt. Ivan was far too used to this treatment by now to even bother fighting it. He pulled back his fist to punch Ivan in the stomach and the young man winced, bracing himself for the blow. Before it could come though, there was a loud, shrill whistle - one of the professors. The bully dropped Ivan's collar and the hallway cleared quickly. The young woman sighed and walked over to Ivan where he stood in the middle of the corridor, puzzled, "Are you all right, Mr. Rivers?" Ivan smiled weakly, "Better now..." He stooped to collect his things, bowing to the professor before heading to his room. With a groan, he set his things on his desk and checked his appearance in the mirror. 'Nerd...' He sighed and turned on his heel, deciding that a walk through the park would help clear his mind. -------- Ivan woke with a sat, turning to see the clock light up behind him reading 11 o'clock. He cursed and jumped up - he missed lights out and the dorm building was probably locked. Why did he fall asleep in the middle of the park?! With another curse, he ran back towards Starwind Academy. He paused as he passed a toy store - his eyes falling on a large white teddy bear, with black ears and big blue eyes. He knew it was silly, being sixteen-years-old - almost seventeen - and still liking stuffed animals. He didn't even realize that he had stopped to stare. Not until he heard that voice. A voice he'd never forget. It made his heart pound in his chest. Something so...magical about that voice. It was strong, deep, protective - held every promise in the world - all for him. "It's nice, isn't it?" Ivan turned his head quickly. A young man stood there, dressed in a white button up shirt, faded blue-jeans and a long shiny leather jacket, his hands in his pockets, a think pair of rimless glasses hanging on the edge of his nose. His eyes were what struck him the most - pale blue like nothing he had ever seen before. So soft and warm and cool at the same time - for the first time in a while, he felt safe. It was strange - crazy. He didn't even know who this man was. The young man smiled at him softly, "You attend Starwind Academy, don't you?" Ivan shrunk back a little, but he smiled more, pointing to the school crest on Ivan's sleeve. "I used to attend myself - it's a very interesting place." "It is at that..." The older teen chuckled softly. "The town is dangerous at night - what do you say to me escorting you back to the academy. I wouldn't want for an innocent young boy to be harmed needlessly." Ivan blinked, feeling heat creep onto his cheeks - he didn't know what to say, what else could he say. He nodded slowly. That's where it all began - with a simple meeting in front of a toy store. OOC: *nods* lol hopefully that gives some sort of opening for...someone? |

OOC: Not... really... but I shall give it a try! Anyway, I'm gonna need to edit the bio, so he's in the school, but aside from that, I'd say he's the same. Also, his staff has a design pattern on top, not pointy stake, that's only on bottom, concealed by a cap. The cap is fragile enough that if he smashes that side into someone, it will break, leaving the point to stab said someone. Cosmo left his dorm. There was something about tonight which had the winds whispering, and he wanted to know what it was. Grabbing his staff, he snuck from his room out into the night. It wasn't long before he found two shadows talking. Soon he recognized one as Ivan, one of the students in his school. "Oh, it's just you. What are you doing out so late?" It didn't occur to him that he was out just as late, because he considered himself able to defend himself, and Ivan really didn't. He got beaten up by school bullies. Although, to be fair, if Cosmo hadn't had some of the skills he did, he would be too. He'd always felt a bit of a 'kinship' with Ivan, both were orphans, both were loners, and both were nerds. OOC: Chad, you've got it easy. I've gotta modify Felix and peoples too. *ponder* Felix Emeri Age: Looks 21 Appearance: Fair skin, long brown hair that's tied back into a loose ponytail, chocolate brown eyes. Height: 6'2" Weapon: Sword disguised as a simple staff that he usually wears on his back. Also uses taijutsu, and doesn't draw his sword unless needed. Background: Felix abandoned his family when he was turned, no longer feeling safe around his parents or sister, especially when it came time for him to feed. he occasionally checks in on them in secret, paranoid about their safety. But other than those few paranoid moments, Felix resides with his fellow band members, often practicing his guitar skills. Other times, he's simply out and about during the evening and early morning hours. Picard Abhay Age: looks 20 Appearance: Tanned skin, long blue hair that's tied back into a loose ponytail, piercing golden eyes. Height: 5'9" Weapon: Daggers that are hidden inside his lightweight jacket and the inside of his legs; doesn't use them unless absolutely necessary Background: Picard was swept away from his family years ago. He had once lived on Lemuria, but since he was kidnapped by the ocean, Picard has simply wandered, trying to fit in. It was more difficult to do so when Felix had turned him, but the older man has provided him housing and a place in the tiny vampire band. Whenever he's not busy with his vampire duties, Picard is often found outside stargazing. Aoshi Tushar Age: 19 Appearance: Short, messy blue hair and azure eyes with slightly tanned skin Height: 5'8" Weapon: None Background: Aoshi's usually quiet and not really all that outgoing. He sometimes studies with Ivan to help improve his study habits (he's lazy about it) and to simply read as much about vampires as he possibly can. When he's not with Ivan, he can usually be found with Kanata to improve his hand-to-hand combat skills. Kanata Ajala Age: 22 Appearance: long, glacier-colored hair that's pulled back into a high ponytail. Slightly tanned skin, pale purple eyes Height: 5'6" Weapon: She wears a pendant around her neck that transformed into a staff (Lol, like CCS.) Background: When she's not busy with her students and friends, Kanata can be found reading in the library on her own or gazing out the window from one of the topmost floors of the school, looking for potential vampires. She won't allow a single won to even consider stepping on school grounds. *dies* Okay... That's everyone I'm using, I think x____X IC: Kanata frowned as she watched Cosmo leave the school grounds. She let out a soft sigh, a hand absently reaching up to grasp her pendant. She would give Cosmo five minutes... and if he wasn't back on ground before then, then she would personally go out and make sure that he was escorted back. It didn't matter if he was already showing magical ability. It was still immature and could backfire at any given time. OOC: o.o Short, lolz. |

OOC: O_o when did you post? I could have sworn that no one had posted here since I last did... Anyway, should I put my character bios here too? "Ivan? Earth to Ivan... hello?" Cosmo said to the silent boy. It was almost as if he couldn't hear him. He briefly considered trying to read their minds, but decided against it. He didn't like invading people's privacy too much. Just then his watch beeped. "Uh-oh. I've gotta get back to the dorm. I'll see you later then. Bye!" he said, and dashed back to the dorm. OOC: wouldn't want to have to be escorted... *shudder* the horror :P |

Ivan glanced in the direction of his fellow student's fleeting form, frowning to himself. The man glanced at him, something strange in his pale blue eyes, "Was that a friend of yours?" Ivan shrugged his shoulders absently, "No." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "I should probably go back to the dorms...it's really late." He smiled at him, "Well then..." Ivan blinked and before he knew what was happening, the man had taken his hand and was leading him towards Starwind Academy. 'He looks young...maybe nineteen at the oldest...he said he used to go to Starwind but I don't remember seeing him around before...I know I'd remember seeing someone like him...' Ivan frowned, watching his profile, 'He could be lying...but someone like him...' The man stopped, glancing back at him and smiling softly, "We're here." Ivan blinked again, looking around. Sure enough they were standing in front of the academy gates. But when exactly had they gotten there? He couldn't have been that lost in his thoughts....could he? Ivan returned the smile hesitantly, "Do you...?" He stopped him before he could invite him in. "Not yet..." He turned to leave but paused, leaning towards him, "You need to be very careful, Ivan...your life is about to change drastically. A lot of people will come to you...but you can't trust anyone." "How did...?" He smiled and turned away, disappearing around the street corner. Ivan stood there, dazed. 'I never told him my name...' |

OOC: Two weeks ago? D: IC: Kanata had already gone downstairs to the front doors to await Cosmo's return. She still wasn't pleased with the fact that he had left after hours, but as long as he returned safely unscathed. "Does it take so long to rush back, I wonder..." |

Cosmo got back and saw Kanata. "Oh, hi Kanata. Why are you down here?" he said, slightly worried. He hoped it was for some reason other than to yell at him for having left after hours. |

Ivan sighed, pushing up his glasses as he continued to stand in front of the gates where the young man had left him what seemed like only seconds ago. His gaze wandered and caught a nearby street clock and he clapped his hand to his mouth to muffle a shout when he saw the time and he ran through the courtyard towards the dorms as quietly as he could. ------------ Robin ran a hand back through his sandy blonde hair, his pale face emotionless now that the young human was out of sight. 'To think that they would just let him wander around on his own without the slightest protection...' He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, gritting his teeth, a dark aura radiating from him gently - hardly noticable unless you knew what to look for. 'With so many idiot vampires about - especially in this city...someone with the smell of a vampire hunter shouldn't be own alone. He's lucky I was the one that found him.' He blinked, tilting his head back, "But...why did I help him...?" He smiled softly to himself, shaking his head, 'You're getting soft in your old age, Robin...' He started to take a step forward, disappearing before his foot touched the ground. ------ Ivan spotted Kanata and Cosmo as soon as he passed through the doors but didn't think much of it, hoping they wouldn't say anything on his way to his room. |

Cosmo winced. Either she liked Ivan more and was unfairly nice to him or she was laying a trap. Either way was bad, and Cosmo didn't really want to think about it. He just looked over and said, "Hi again." |

Ivan paused, letting out a soft sigh that he hoped they wouldn't notice. He linked his hands behind him, shuffling his feet nervously, "Yes?" It was late and he had a lot to think about thanks to that man he met and he really didn't feel like being scolded for staying out so late. |

Kanata quietly observed Ivan, noting how...distracted he was. Was it possible that he had run into...? "You ran into someone other than Cosmo, didn't you?" She asked simply. She needed to know. It was partially her responsibility, after all. |
