Ok, here are my questions for Butterfly! 1. Since Rain used some of her powers to fix Yusuke's jaw a bit, am I correct in assuming that characters can use powers such as enhanced eyesight, speed, ESP, etc? What about ninitsu and the like? 2. Can one of my characters be a bouncer for Butterfly? Like a new guy that they just hired or something? |

I was thinking of using this idea here since Time to Torture's pretty much dead for good. Why don't we throw in Gundam 00 characters in too, as Celestial Being? They could be the "good guy" since the RP's lacking law enforcement. They'd, basically, be eradicating gang activity and, if possible and after the gangs are gone, prostitution. There's only three characters that have been claimed thus far, but I figured I might as well bring it up ^^; July 19, 2009: Making use of this thread now that there's a new Butterfly RP. Who's keeping who in the Butterfly-verse? Me, obviously keeping Yusuke, Sasuke, and Jiraiya. Ikari too, since he's co-owner of Butterfly, and Shiroi. I'll throw in other Gundam OCs as necessary, but that depends. I'll throw in Duo next post too, since Kenni's keeping Heero. I don't think I'll be throwing in from Inuyasha, since I've pretty much completely fallen out of that fandom. I'm not really 100% sure about which characters will be dropped at this point. Just sorta waiting to see what you two (and maybe others) do to see which characters will interact best in the given situations. Haro's Night Shift: Aki - Waiter Nicol Amarfi - Host Day Shift: Not sure yet, I might switch Aki to the day shift or put him on a rotative turn so he can work different shifts. @ Saku: Teito could be appointed to the Seventh District's branch in the city, like Hoshi said while speaking, they CAN'T BE ALL BAD. I know three sisters who would relish the in the fact to help all the little lost lambs! I'm not entirely sold on having Celestial Being as a Law enforcement group since. A) they operate by their own standards, therefore not really enforcing laws. B) The way we would have to tone them down would be dramatic at best. C) Anybody should be allowed to join, whereas Celestial Being chooses the people who join, not the other way around. |

Veda doesn't have to exist in this AU, and they can allow others to join. Have civilian divisions and spies, since, if we bring anyone in from Gundam 00 at all, it'd be limited at best and I'd have to put up the character list again (and would need to make one for 07-GHOST if you two plan on bringing in Teito and anyone else). For example, Heero could be a part of CB, but working undercover while still holding his job at Butterfly. He's careful as it is, so Kaze or Ikari wouldn't suspect anything. Things'll obviously have to be tweaked if we really want to bring it into Butterfly, since there's no war to terrorize. And obviously their purpose to unite the world wouldn't really work here either. They could be allies/network/what have you with what little other law enforcing organizations there are out there. Just a thought, though. |

Wow xD We need more people for the Day shift, I guess. I'll try to think of some characters I can throw in, but I don't really have anyone that'd fit in in the restaurant setting. I might throw Tsuki in, but I haven't decided if I'm keeping her yet. Eh, no idea who else can cook. --- @ Kenni: Okay! I guess we're starting a 07-GHOST character list! Yay! The church will provide a sanctuary and do charity work in this twisted little city of ours *laughs* Whee~ Get to work with my newest obsession >3 --- I've also decided to keep Yuri Manjushage. She's going to be a free agent of sorts in the city, pulling random little oddjobs here and there, as she's told, whether it be assassination or information gathering. A bit of a private investigator type of thing? Haha. I don't feel like letting Orochi hog her to herself, especially since I'm not sure if I'm going to keep Orochimaru. --- Lessee, I've watched all of three episodes of Gundam 00, so I'm not really sure what Celestial Being's main objective actually is. From what I can see, it tries to force world peace through violence? I'd have to agree with Kenni in that I don't see how it would be "law enforcing," since there aren't really any rules to enforce anymore and Celestial Being was never known for following the laws anyway. The lack of giant Gundams also makes it harder for them to be able to "enforce" the laws as they usually would. I'm not really sure what you want Celestial Being to be in the game. It sounds more like you want to create an underground network of some sort to do who-knows-what with the name Celestial Being attached to it? |
