Oasis plays the John Labatt Centre on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., representatives of the downtown London arena and tour organizers announced this morning. The announcement confirms the Oasis buzz about a date here first reported on lfpress.com earlier in the spring. The Sept. 9 date is Oasis's first visit to London and is the final date on the band's Canadian run. . The Oasis tour starts in Seattle and includes stops in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Ottawa. Joining Oasis on the tour are New York rockers Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. Oasis has recently been recording its seventh studio album with producer Dave Sardy in London, England's Abbey Road studios and the Village Studios in Los Angeles.
